Super Mario World Collection: Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for Super Nintendo

Today original Nintendo Nes games are thought to be outdated. Today we have wireless systems with real life graphics and you look back to Nes games and think they are obsolete. Mainly Duck Hunt. It was the first ever console shooter game with a light gun that could be hooked up to the controller slot. It was an instant classic. That and the fact it shared the same cartridge as the original Mario Brothers.

In the original Duck Hunt game for Nintendo there are three Game Modes. Shooting 1 duck, 2 ducks, or clay mode were you shoot flying clay plates before they hit the ground. In the Online Version of Duck Hunt you have the option of Shooting the annoying dog to replace clay mode. That is to compensate for how much Nintendo fans hate the Duck Hunt Dog.

The problem with Duck Hunt is that the game play gets boring really fast. You shoot two ducks and the dog shows the ducks shot or you miss and the dog laughs. It gets to the point where you will put it back in a drawer to build up dust for another 5-10 years.

The main reason to play Duck Hunt online is because it is free and does not require blowing in a cartridge to get it to work. You also do not need to mess with system and light gun cords. It is very convenient and will be a trip down memory lane. The controllers are simple also. Move the mouse or touch pad to aim the gun and left click to shoot. Enjoy!

Mario's Time Machine

Customer Review: Dumb
Nintendo is getting out of hand. Mario games are getting crappier, crappier and crappier. Mario is for one year olds. He should die. Maybe Sonic, Halo or any other character that doesn't come from nintendo should be world famous than this weakest-character-in-the-video game-history. All of his games is junk. This game is badd.
Customer Review: This game is easy and perfect for new gamers
As the title sates this game is perfect for new gamers. I love it and so will you. This is the best mario title. Ignore everyone else this game is NOT educational. All stupid people should buy this game. All people should get this game!!![.]

In the 60's and 70's it was The Beatles vs Rolling Stones. In the 80's it was Lakers vs Celtics. In the 90's the topic that saw so many schoolyard arguments was indeed Mario vs Sonic. Who would win in a fight? Who would win in a race? Who cooks a better omelet? You name it, it was argued. There were no characters as recognised to children of the 90's as Sonic and Mario, with Sonic's "Q Score" (a rating that rates something based on it's popularity) even surpassing that of Mickey Mouse. With such results, it seemed obvious this rivalry wouldn't die out quickly.

Contrary to popular belief, Mario made his debut in the 1981 Donkey Kong game for the arcade. Although he was called "Jumpman" he looked exactly the same as the Mario that appeared in the first game with his name in the title "Mario Bros." This was a basic game that didn't scroll, and it required killing all the enemies in a "Phase" and then progressing to the next phase. In this age, it is hard to see the appeal of this game, but in it's time it was rather entertaining.

Mario's game that propelled him to the status of a household name was the first "Super Mario Bros" for the NES which is now the best selling video game of all time. This was the first side scrolling Mario game and it set a standard for all the 16 bit Mario games to come. While it was not the first side scrolling platformer, it was the first done well, and allowed other developers to copy the formula. For this reason, this game is hailed by many as the saviour of the video game industry as the industry was in a great deal of trouble before it's release.

Possibly more noteworthy, was Mario's transition into the 3d world. Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 received perfect scores from countless professional review companies. It is still seen today as the best ever 3d platformer, and many have tried but failed to replicate the success of Super Mario 64.

Sonic's creators knew from the beginning that Sega needed a mascot for it's Genesis/Mega Drive system that could help market it's console to compete with Mario and the Super Nintendo. They looked at Mario and perceived him as stuffy and uninteresting and decided to tap into the younger generation who was after something "cooler" with more attitude. After many considerations including "Mighty the Armadillo" Sonic the Hedgehog was decided on and a team of 15 began work on what would be the first Sonic game, "Sonic the Hedgehog" for the Genesis/Mega Drive.

Popular opinion said Sonic didn't really hit his straps until the second game for the 16 bit console. In this his little sidekick Tails was introduced and collecting all the chaos emeralds saw Sonic transform into "Super Sonic" which was a yellow, super fast super strong version of the character.

Sonic's 3d games however have not seen the success of it's rival Mario. Sonic 3d Blast for the Genesis/Mega Drive was an average attempt, and it wasn't until the Dreamcast where we saw a 3d Sonic game that was really worth playing called "Sonic Adventure." However, since creating that formula that worked perfectly, Sega have made odd choices with games forcing you to play as Sonic's less entertaining sidekicks to access the fun Sonic levels. Sonic the Hedgehog on the 360/PS3 received awful reviews. Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Wii seems to be the only game since Sonic Adventure that has really got it right with Sega finally realising that what made the originals so fun, was Sonic's blistering speed.

Sega's decision to no longer create consoles has no seen the creation of the first game where Mario and Sonic can go head to head called "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games." After selling about 1 million copies of this game, it is clear this rivalry is still alive and kicking. Many have no doubt thought back to those schoolyard arguments and thought "Finally! I can prove x is better than y!"

Whatever your opinion is, it's no doubt you haven't seen your last debate on the topic. Just remember when you're ready to rip someone's throat out, it's only a game.

Mario and Sonic's battles will never end, and as long as they continue my blog will continue writing opinion pieces on the topic. Check out Wii want to Blog for all my adventures in Wii (and general gaming) including reviews, opinion pieces and news!

Nes Nintendo 2 game Combo Pack:Super Mario Bros. 3, and NES Image Fight games Cartridges (8-Bit NES Version)

This a 2 game combo for the Nintendo Nes system. 8bit NES Nintendo Version. This is not a Wii video game. Super Mario Bros. 3 by Nintendo and Image Fight by Irem. 2 Game combo. Great for collectors. Lots of fun.

Video Game Consoles are the order of the day. Companies manufacturing these gaming consoles are coming up with new and improved versions of their gaming consoles incorporating the latest etchnology into it. You talk about the Playstation 3 or ,the latest edition of XBox 360, you would find a few thousand takers to it.

Nintendo GameCube is Nintendo's fourth home video game console. The GameCube is a predecessor to the WII and is part of the sixth generation era.

The GameCube uses a Game Disc as a medium and is the first non-cartridge storage medium gaming console.

What is so good about the GameCube:

The GameCube has lots of positives to it. A few of them are as follows:

  1. The GameCube is very tight and Compact and is the best portable equipments available in the market right now.
  2. The Controller design is so practical and natural that it is a pleasure using it.
  3. Some of the best M-Rated games are easily available on GameCube. The best example of this is Resident Evil.
  4. The optical gaming discs are relatively small, but it can still hold 1.5 gigabytes of memory. But a GameCube can't play movies or CD's.
  5. In most of the gaming consoles there is often a problem that you encounter. A interruption by opening the disc leads to quite a few error messages. But GameCube is devoid of such issues.
  6. The best part of all is the availability of colors. The color choices are as follows: -Indigo: Purple -Black: Jet -Platium: Silver

Games available in GameCube:

The best game ever to be released for the GameCube is the "Resident Evil Zero". Based on the popular horror movie of the same name this game is a very thrilling and entertaining game to play with an equally wonderful storyline. A fe other available games are as follows:

Super Smash Bros. Melee

-Luigi's Mansion
-Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2
-Star Wars: Rogue Leader
-Animal Crossing
-Mario Party 4, 5, and 6
-The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
-Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
-Geist
-Star Wars: Rouge Squadron III: Rebel Strike
-Final Fantasy: Crystal Chornicles
-F-Zero GX
-Star Fox
-Metriod Prime
-Metriod Prime 2: Echoes
-Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
-Resident Evil 4
-Residnt Evil Zero
-1080 Avalanche
-Tales of Symphonia

In addition to all these, for the WWE fans there is "WWE Wrestlemania XIX" which is again one of the best games made available for the GameCube.

What are walkthroughs?

Walkthroughs are tips and techniques made availabe by players who have completed a specific game, that enable you to smoothly finish a game. One would wonder why should such tips be made available.

These games are very thrilling to play. But there is a point in all of these games where you get stuck up, just because there is something that you should have discovered or, learnt on your way to that particular point which you did not and consequently got stuck up at this point. It is very difficult and often nearly impossible to get hrough these points. the walkthroughs and cheats available help you overcome these hurdles and continue playing.

Wondering why the gaming companies do not discourage these!! The answer is simple. Imagine you playing a game and getting stuck up at a point. You keep playing day-in and day-out to get out of the mess but fail to do so. Human tendency has it that you would quit playing the game and term the game as uninteresting. These walkthroughs prevent loosing interest in these games.

The author is a gaming freak and loves playing online games. He is a fan of the various gaming consoles and of all of these, he prefers playing on the XBOX. The WII is also a favorite of his and oves to play Resident Evil 4 which is his all time favorite game.

Customer Review: LOL Funny!
Hotel Mario may be weird but the animation is funny and so is the dialog in the cutscenes like Mario tells you to "check out the enclosed instruction book."It is totally worth the buy if you want to laugh until you pee yourself trust me.
Customer Review: Boring!
This was a very boring game. Mario is not supposed to talk duh! The story is dumb and the level stink. Please save 20 minutes of your time and don't buy this game!!!

The Nintendo Wii has definitely made its mark in home video gaming. Coming to two years after its launch, the consoles continue to be going great guns. Unlike in the past when Wii games had always been lackluster compared to the consoles, newer Games for Wii are starting to match up to the consoles in terms of demand. Fortunately, there's no shortage fiasco on the card for games because there are feasible alternatives.

The Games for Wii was never a Nintendo forte. It was always more of the way the games were played than the essence of the games itself. Of late though, new releases of Wii games such as Wii Fit, Blast Works, We Ski and so forth are looking like the Wii is finally coming into its own in that area too. Then again, there are also signs that it's headed for another case of stock-out propensity.

If there was any lessons learnt from the launch of the consoles, top on the list should be the supple issues. It's not only damaging for Nintendo in missed opportunities, it's also very frustrating and wasteful for the Wii gamers. The driving around town for that new disc that has run short of supply wastes petrol, time and efforts among other things. That hard-gotten machine is but only a white-elephant without the games.

The premium pricing of Wii video games does not help things either. The cost of the games adds up quickly as more and more of them are churned out and it doesn't look like the price of the games is coming down anytime soon. Instead of improving the affordability of the pastime with the increased volume, some of the new games actually require the purchase of add-ons and accessories such as the Balance Board in the Wii Fit package.

As a result, Wii gamers are resorting to other means to load their machines. Wii game rentals have caught on to some degree. Popular games for other consoles are also being converted through re-formatting to be playable on Wii machines, independent 3rd-party game developers and publishers have joined in the fray but by far the most popular solution to the affordability and availability problems is the Wii membership download service.

Games Download Service sites are found all over the shop on the net. Free unlimited lifetime download for a one-time joining fee seems to be the most popular type of package. The fee is typically around the standard price of a single physical game disc. There's really no comparison in price as they are effectively endless free Wii games for members and being downloaded online, they're also theoretically never out-of-stock.

Lastly, watch out for scams and pretenders in picking the right download service provider. Unless you're a multi-console gamer, choose from the pool of exclusive Wii providers as they tend to be more specialized. Other free Wii media like music, movies and TV shows must be included, along with software, tools and accessories at no charge and backed by 24/7 support and full refund guarantee.

Want to know the savviest way to get Free Wii Games? Let us share our information and tips with you. Visit us at Download Games for Wii.

MARIO & SONIC AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES (WII)

Fans anticipating the release of NCAA 09 probably won't be disappointed when they finally get to play the game. EA seems to have focused on refining options and feel of the running game, certainly what you'd expect from a NCAA game. Also, NCAA 09 comes with a new Break Away Animation Engine to provide larger cutback lanes and bigger holes for the offense and greater opportunities for players in the clear.

Screens and Stadiums

Many have compared and contrasted the screens and stadiums of both NCAA Football 08 and its 09 version. The lighting, texture, colors and other details have contributed to a more authentic look for the NCAA 09.

Playing to the Crowds

One change that EA is probably hoping fans would love is the enhanced crowd system. Now players can customize stadium music and sounds, choose the crowd's reaction to breakaways, and of course, expect to have mayhem and confusion cloud decisions of the teams. Visuals for the crowds have also been improved. You'll notice that there are more people in the sidelines, from mascots to cheerleaders to backup players, and lighting and texture for the fields had also been improved.

Mascot Mode

Acknowledging the importance of team mascots, NCAA 09 now allows players to customize celebrations whenever a touchdown is scored. NCAA 09 also allows for several mascot games, but the jury's still out on this one since it's too early to tell how NCAA fans will react to this.

Choice of Players

With NCAA 09, game users can expect new college player models to be available for their teams together with over fifty alternate uniforms to choose from. Non-players may think uniforms don't make a difference to the game you play, but NCAA enthusiasts certainly know better.

Game Enhancements

First off, expect to adjust to several changes - all for the better, though, so don't worry - to how the recruiting system's going to work. Rest assured that you can look forward to fair play when it comes to choosing recruits for your team.

College specific tackling engines have also been added, making your game all the more accurate. So if you're playing for the #1 team in the West Division, don't expect your tackling engine to be similar to the #1 team in the East. Also, players have now been granted the ability to return missed field goals. In relation to this, you also get better passing control, bobble catches, smart routes, formation audibles, and bluffed plays so that players near you won't have the chance to find out about your game plan.

So far, we've mentioned the added features to help you win a game. But as far as added features to make a game more enjoyable are concerned, NCAA 09 brings to you offline cooperative play up to four players. Not only that, but you can also expect new play-by-play sequences and post-game presentations, many mini-games to while away the time, quick replay and post play continuation, and random play selection for practices. Last but not the least, NCAA 09 also allows you to play now using the even teams option.

So what are you waiting for? Go tackle NCAA 09!

FKrosters.com provides NCAA Football rosters files for PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360. We offer purchase new memory card, memory card mail-in, and roster download service particularly NCAA Football 09 Rosters.

Mario's Brewery

Super heroes have been around for a very long time in the form of comic books and action figures. They have found their way to the big screen and even to the world of video games. They are timeless and they never seem to go out of style. It seems in this world of good and evil there is always room for one more super hero to come along and save the day.

If you love super heroes you will be very excited to discover that there are plenty of Nintendo Wii games that fit into this category. The have wonderful effects so you can feel like you are a part of the game. You can bring the characters to life instead of just moving them around. You will likely get lost in the action that is going on.

One of the newest ones out there is Spiderman 3. Set in the city of New York, Spiderman is out there trying to save the day anyway he can. What is very original about this version of the game is that you can go with the regular suit or the black one that Spiderman wears in the movie. When Spiderman is wearing the black suit he is stronger and faster. Yet we all know there are ways in which that suit consumes him so you better be ready for them in the game.

There are complete storylines from the movie that you can play through if you wish to do so. If not, you will have the option to create your own scenes along the way. With this particular super hero game for the Wii you aren't just trying to save others; you are trying to save Spiderman from himself as well. Will your desire for power be too much and lead to your own destruction? Will not using the black suit though mean you aren't powerful enough at times to defeat the enemies? There are plenty of cool effects and plenty of great features found in this game that you will be quite impressed with.

If destruction is more your style the Incredible Hulk game may be what you are interested in. He is huge and green and can get very angry when things don't go his way. Even though the Hulk is attempting to be helpful he leaves a mess every where he goes. You may be having a great time destroying everything in your path but you need to be careful. The more you destroy the more forces will be coming to take you out. That could mean your game ends before you have gotten to explore very much out there.

The game portrays the Incredible Hulk as more of a human than a cartoon version. In fact if you have see the newly released movie then you will understand that there is a connection between the two. It is no accident that this newly released Wii game came out around the same time as the movie hit theatres. Most people agree that they like this humanist form of the Hulk much better.

There is also Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law. With this particular super hero game Harvey has to solve some tough cases. Are you up to the task of helping him do so? There are some that are relatively easy to solve and others that are going to take a great deal of concentration on your part. You can have a great time with this Wii game as well as enjoying sharpening your thinking skills.

The legacy of super heroes lives on with the many Nintendo Wii games. If you have a couple of favorites you can choose those games to play. It can be fun to be a part of those games instead of just reading about that super hero or watching them on TV. Nintendo has done a terrific job of bringing these images to life for people to really get into the game.

Mario Kart 64

Mario Kart 64, one of the first games released for the Nintendo 64 platform, is an updated translation of the very popular Super Mario Kart for the Super NES (SNES). And while the game clearly takes full advantage of the graphics power and speed of the N64, a few components that made the original so compelling have been left out of this release.

Still, Nintendo's expertise at sucking players into the game world is strongly evident, and Mario Kart 64 offers enough challenges to keep players (especially casual gamers) entertained. Placing a familiar Nintendo personality behind the wheel of a sputtering kart powered by a 50, 100, or 150-cc engine, the game lets players race computerized opponents or up to four other players on a variety of well-designed tracks. Because karts lack the power and speed of race cars, drivers must focus on collecting power-ups and nonlethal weapons rather than negotiating hairpin turns on two wheels. Grabbing and using on-track items is the heart of the game's fun: a strategically-placed banana peel sends the unlucky victim into a spin, nailing an opponent with a turtle shell launches their vehicle skyward, and a rocket provides a quick boost to near-breakneck speeds, if only for a moment.

The multiplayer mode provides enormously chaotic fun for up to four players--flip it on at a party and watch the guests congregate around the screen. --Eric Twelker

Pros:

  • Well-designed tracks
  • Simple controls
  • Strong multiplayer appeal
Cons:
  • Computerized opponents sometimes pull off questionable feats

Customer Review: Kid Friendly Gaming
This is a kid friendly racing game. Many are big turn offs with sexual, and violent usage. The various levels, and terrain, are fun to explore, with simpler navigation. Each area brings gamers new, and exciting obstacle challenges. Users can chose which character they would like to be. Adding a special pack, sold separately, gives players a feeling of riding one of these cars. A unique factor when a competitor goes off track they can go through water, and sand. If I remember correctly, depending where you land you'll notice the slowing of your racer. In water you'll see bubbles. Both a con and a helper is to race against the program. In the bad it often wins, but in the good you can gain awareness on how the track goes, learning to avoid most problems, and use your tools to win!
Customer Review: Great Fun with Kids
A great game to play with your children. Older platform is not a barrier to fun.

Nintendo Wii Active Gaming The Nintendo Wii is a revolutionary gaming system that allows you to really feel like you are doing the games you are playing. Right out of the box it is ready for you to enjoy.

With Wii Sports you can play five sports right in your home and feel almost like you are playing for real. You can take the court with tennis, hit the lanes in bowling, take the field in baseball, visit the green in golf, and step into the ring in boxing. Besides Wii Sports there several other sports games have been released for the Nintendo Wii that use the revolutionary capabilities of the Wii to create an active video game experience. Just a two examples are Showtime Championship Boxing and Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games. Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games is among the more interesting somewhat active games considering it has several different games to play and can be fun as a multiplayer game. The games are not always very active, but it does have some good active games including rowing and the swimming events.

There are also several other Nintendo Wii games out there that are active, although, you have to be selective as some are just regular video games that do not use the active capabilities of the Wii. One of the best active games that has been released is Wii Fit. This game is an interactive exercise video game. The closest thing it can be compared to is an exercise video, but it is much more than just that. It further makes the Nintendo Wii revolutionary through the addition of the Wii balance board, which gives the added functionality that allows you to do the included exercises and activities as an interactive video gaming experience with the Nintendo Wii.

To some of the more hardcore gamers the Wii Fit may seem too explicitly like exercising to be enjoyable as a video game. There are still other fun active gaming options, such as the snow skiing game called We Ski, which uses the balance board as skis and the Wii remote and nunchuck as ski poles.

Another good active game for the Nintendo Wii is Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party. This game is available for several gaming systems, but the Wii version makes the game more active than the others. Beyond giving your legs a workout with the dance pad the Wii version adds hand gestures by using the motion sensing technology of the Wii remote and nunchuck. This makes it a fun dancing video game that is active gaming for the whole body.

Another option for more active Nintendo Wii video gaming is Rock Band, especially if you play the drums. There are several other more interesting games that involve doing arm movements including Rayman Raving Rabbids. This is one of the more traditional video game like games that ends up involving a good amount of arm movement mostly involving you shaking the Wii remote and nunchuck up and down.

Nintendo DS Super Mario Stylus Pens - Geeso (Version 2)

Super Mario Gashapon Stylus Version 2 by Yujin Package Included: Geeso Stylus Only
Customer Review: Oooooo
This is so much better than using the little stylus that comes with the DS. It's nice and fat, too. It connects the DS by a little loop right next the the wrist strap/loop that is at the top of the DS. The little character at the top can be removed but it stays put unless you pull it out.

Super Mario Bros. 1 for the Nintendo Nes was revolutionary for the video game industry. It featured smooth side scrolling action with a theme that a "Hero must save a Princess". It is a Renaissance Knight in shining armor theme with a plumber. You can play this game online from your Internet browser window.

Super Mario Bros. 1 was the highest selling video game of all time. Since it's really rare to find a working cartridge nowadays they have online versions. You must own the original cartridge though to comply with copyrights. So here is what you have to do to play Super Mario Bros. 1 from your Internet browser.

You must install a recent version of Java on your computer so the game can load. Then from there the Nes game will take a moment to load. It often takes people time to adapt to playing with the keyboard instead of Nes or Snes controller (For people who played it in Mario All-Stars). This games sequel was Super Mario 2 (Japan) which in North America is Super Mario Lost Levels. The Japanese programmers thought it should not be released in North America because it would be too difficult for us.

Super Mario Brothers 1 is world known as the most popular game of all time because of highest sale revenue for a game and because it came with the Nes. Later the Original Nintendo was bundled with Super Mario Bros. 2. It is a historic game for now and forever. Enjoying playing Super Mario Bros. 1 online.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Original Black Label) Not Players Choice or Best Seller Covers

This is the Original Black Label very first printings of this game. These are ones that are not marked Players Choice or Best Seller.
Customer Review: A rare RPG gem in a sea of mundane.
Way before they went overboard on stupid gimmicks with Super Paper Mario, but after they learned their lessons on what worked and what didn't from Paper Mario, we have the Thousand Year Door. The pinnacle, in my opinion, of the Paper Mario series. I'll simply break the game down into bite-size chunks: Story: This is a far different story than the typical 'Bowser' is the main villian mythos. You are sent to a vastly different land that is the polar opposite of the bright and cheery Mushroom Kingdom. You are sent to investigate the disappearance of Princess Peach and the reason why she asked you to Rogueport to find a 'treasure.' The treasure is rumored to be behind a door that's been shut for a Thousand Years, sealed by seven crystal stars. The final end result of the story is something more deadly and terrifying than Bowser could ever be. Although he does make frequent appearances as comic relief. Sound/Music: Improving upon the previous title in every way, the game remixes old tunes and comes up with fresh new ones for almost every area. Nothing ever gets repetative and everything suits well to the area it plays for. The sounds are also top notch and don't detract from the overall presentation. Controls: After a few minutes of adjusting to the controls and literally being thrown into a battle 2 minutes of starting the game, you should slip right into a groove and have no complaints for the rest of the game. Gameplay: This game has it in spades. There is simply so much to do not only in the secret-encrusted city of Rogueport, but in all the individual areas and towns you will visit. There are so many badges, star pieces, hidden question blocks, trade sequences, help quests, side quests, and mini-games that you won't be bored for a long time. The difficulty of the game is on the moderate side, nothing that you can't complete with a small amount of time spent for level grinding, which is a good thing. Only downside is that some of the help quests can be a bit mundane and boring having you travel back and forth multiple times through the same areas to complete it. Beyond this gripe, which is purely optional and not intended to be completed to finish the game, this game is very innovative, genius, funny and good in all aspects. A highly recommended game for all RPG fans out there and Mario RPG fans in particular. Especially now since the Wii can play Gamecube games, there is no reason not to pick this up and pop it in the Wii for a great time. Don't rent, simply buy, it will be worth your money.

Have you ever wondered how people manage to level so fast that you can't keep up with them. That is because they use leveling strategies that most people don't know about or realize. Some leveling strategies can be common sense and others are well hidden within the game. Here are a few Leveling strategies you can use to improve your gaming performance.

1. When Grinding / Questing always bring food with you (I have died many of times without it, basically because I did not wait to re-heal).

2. As soon as possible, learn your first aid skills and keep them updated (first aid has been a life saver plenty of times, especially in pvp).

3. If you are one of those people who like to pick up everything that a mob drops then go into your settings and hit auto loot (saves ALOT of time).

4. Grind as little as possible, find quests in your areas to do and if you run out go to a new area.

5. The best thing you can do for fast leveling is get Joana's or Brian's 1-70 Leveling guide. Joana's guide is a 1-70 HORDE leveling guide that will show you the fastest way to get to level 70. Joana has been the first character to level 60 on 6+ servers. Brian kopp's ALLIANCE leveling guide is basically the same setup as Joana's guide except it is set up for Alliance Characters only.

Both of these guides come with DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS on exactly what steps they used to get to level 70. They both of recorded the whole way to level 70 on video and have speeded the video up so that you can view the whole guide in a big video (3or4 gig's).

Nintendo DS Lite Tin Starter Kit Red Super Mario

What is better than playing Super Mario Bros.? How about storing your peanut butter and jelly sandwich inside Mario? The DS kit comes with three styluses, a set of head phones, two silicone game cases, a DS character skin, two screen protectors, a car charger and a metal lunch box. All of the items in kit match the character design in image and colors.Product Size:10 1/2 x 9 x 4 1/2inches.
Customer Review: The Stylus False advertised!
I don't know if it's the case with other people, but my stylus does NOT say Mario on it at all, which IMO decreases the value of this kit by a lot! My main reason for buying this is for the stylus that say 'Mario', but all mine says is "Nintendo DS" don't say Mario like the picture shows. I already have a tons of headsets, game holders, screen protectors. Car charger, etc. So I really didn't need everything else. For collecting purposes, the tin box is worth about $5-10, the stylus if it said 'Mario' is worth $10 on it's own I'd say(but again not on mine), everything else $10 together, maybe more than that, but I have most of them already.
Customer Review: mario bros kit
well for the 1st time i have to say i regret this buy 'cause the skin broke in a week and the tin is not to handy to carry the ds and games.

Flash games have started their reign on the gaming industry and nobody seems to be complaining as they have quite efficiently managed to engage the users with their rich web design and anime appeal. People love to play the Online flash games and they seem to be the next big thing after the 2D and 3D games. These days, gaming portals have incorporated the Flash player to double up the gaming experiences. The Ultimate Spider Man is the recent game which got a Flash makeover.

The Ultimate Spider Man is played on DS gaming console, hence, questions on the clarity and effect of the graphics never arise. The game has most salutary voice work and music and the graphics are mind-blowing. The presentation of the game is extremely appealing to the senses. It actually seems to be reiterating the movie with augmented essence. The recent cartoon 'The Ultimate Spider Man', rendered by CGI, looks like the source of idea of this game. The dialogues are voiced in an extremely professional manner which accounts for an engrossing play. The game coupled with exciting scores builds up the interest.

The cell-shaded polygonal backdrop gives a splendid view and appeal to the game. The well-animated sprites are the perfect mood-boosters in this game. The camera zooms at frequent intervals to give a dramatical glamour to the stunts. It's rather hard to find another game with a better 3D interface.

The viewpoint shifts from spider man to Venom and vice-versa, occasionally. The closer glimpse of the characters reveals the brilliance of the designer. Even microscopic details have been given the appropriate attention. You will never stop praising the master work as even the minute segments are as appealing as the larger ones. There is a remarkable stage in the game in which the two characters race through different parts of a museum. The levels of exhilaration mount to the peak level as the view switches back and forth at the various checkpoints.

Being a superhero and entrusted to rescue anyone stuck in a perilous situation, Spiderman has to stop at various points to save people from trouble. You, in the shoes of Spiderman, will encounter a bunch of exclamation points in your way which simply indicates that Spidey has to stop for a rescue mission. The online flash games have reached the pinnacle with the Ultimate Spider Man. In all, it is a perfect super game to save you from the clutches of boredom.

Mario Party

Mario Party is the first of several Mario games planned for this year that are being created by developers outside of Nintendo. In this case, the developer is Hudson, a company best known for the Bomberman series, while the others are HAL Systems, the creator of the Kirby line (which is handling the Mario fighting game, Smash Brothers), and Hot Shots Golf maker Camelot (which is doing Mario Golf). Each of the games' focus plays to what the developers know best, in this case, Hudson's knowledge of good multiplayer game modes gleaned from producing countless incarnations of Bomberman, the seminal party-game series
Customer Review: Awesome Game
This is a awesome game it's fun and chalaging. it's fun for the whole family
Customer Review: simple, but so much fun
I'm more of a simple video game type of person. And i love this game. I remember playing it years ago and still like to take a stab at it every now and then. Love it.

Too Human takes a cyber punk retelling of Norse mythology. Instead of the typical gods that you would expect to see, the Norse gods are cybernetically enhanced humans. You play Baldur, one of their gods. In fact, you are the son of Odin. As the son of Odin, it is your job to keep watch over and protect the human race from an approaching army of machines led by the demented Loki and bent on the destruction of mankind.

There are five classes you can choose to play, but the demo only allows the option to play the Champion. With five choices and only one option, one can feel a little unsure of whether or not to buy this game to make the final decision.

How about trying all of the classes?

Berserker

With the Berserker you will find they favor fast, close-quarters combat. They are the only class in the game that can dual-wield swords or staffs.

Defender

The Defender's job is to be the tank. Massive amounts of armor makes him a perfect beating post to ensure the enemy's attention is on no one but him, so that his allies with less armor can unload their fury upon the enemies around him.

Commando

The Commando is your tactical, long-range combat class. This class can stand in the back and deal out explosions and damage if your defender can keep the attention of all of the enemies before you. If you don't have a defender around, the Commando can summon spiders that have their own array of attacks to distract foes.

Champion

The Champion is your overall balance of armor and damage. He can help the defender manage baddies around him, but can also do his fair share of damage to wipe out anything in front of him.

Bio Engineer

This is the guy who is going to ensure everyone in your group is going to stay alive. With different ways to heal both himself and the party, he is a highly needed addition to any group fighting against the forces of Loki.

"Great," you are thinking. "But how do I get to play all these awesome classes in the demo?" Silicon Knights have not forgotten you, but you are going to have to work for it. They have put this in as an intentional Easter egg for those who want to get as much as they can out of the demo.

To get these classes in the Too Human demo, you need to use a different kind of cheat code.

After you have finished downloading the demo, disconnect your Xbox Live. If you don't do this, then you will not be able to play as any of the other classes except the Champion.

Once you have disconnected from Xbox Live, go to the console settings in your Xbox menu, select the clock setting and change the date to 2009. Xbox Live sets your clock automatically if you are connected.

Now that you have done this, go back into the demo, and you will be able to play the game in the Berserker or the Commando class.

For the Defender or Bio Engineer classes, you need to select the character and over and over as fast as you possibly can for 4 to 5 seconds, and then press either left or right.

Now that you can play all the classes, you can get more out of your demo of Too Human. Be sure to check out the rest of the cheat codes for Too Human at: http://www.xboxcheatcodes.com

Nintendo DS Lite Mario Protector Skin

HORI UHDL-62 NINTENDO DS LITE PROTECTOR INCLUDES TOP and BOTTOM PROTECTORS; PROTECTS DS FROM DIRT and SCRATCHES; MARIO, LUIGI and PRINCESS PEACH CHARACTERS
Customer Review: Does it's job.
I purchased this to protect the smooth shiny finish on my Nintendo DS. I am only using the top cover since I thought the bottom cover made it comfortable to hold the unit. Besides not using the bottom part, this serves it's purpose and you have to admit it is cute with all the Mario Bros characters on it. It does state that you can reuse it after removing it. I have not tried that it yet but it states the adhesive can be become sticky again if you add water to the strips.
Customer Review: Not to good!!!
The hard cover fits well but the strick paper that atached the protector to the DS is not good, my son put it on to his DS came off a couple of weeks later.

This article is for anyone looking to play Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green Online. These games are more or less remakes of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Green. The only difference is there are more side quests, trainers, items, and Pokemon. It is definitely worth a replay if you have never played these versions.

You can also encounter new Legendary Pokemon after you beat the Elite Four. It's more than original Pokemon Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, and Mewtwo. You can now obtain the Togepi Egg on Island Five. If you have a Mystic Ticket you can board a ship to Navel Rock to battle with a Level 70 Lugia and Level 70 Ho-oh. On Birth Island you can fight Deoxy. Depending on your game version it will change Deoxy's appearance. In Fire Red Deoxy has ridiculous strength compared to Leaf Green having ridiculous defense. Either games Deoxy is definitely an asset.

There are a few ways to play these games online from your computer against your friends free. I figured this out of sheer boredom and coincidence. I was playing a rom of Leaf Green from my laptop and my friend was playing Fire Red from his computer. I checked the options of my emulator and discovered it is possible to connect to other computers to battle/trade. It is a common feature on most newer Gameboy emulators.

This option is recommended at your discretion as I deleted all mine for legal safety. It is a form of Internet Piracy. The other option is connecting to your friends directly with the hand held systems and games. Pokemon Battle Revolution will likely show the Wifi potential of the Wii as it is mainly a 2 on 2 battle system. It is Wii era Pokemon Stadium game to revive the titles popularity from Nintendo 64.

For those of you who are going to play Fire Red or Leaf Green online good luck on your journeys becoming a Pokemon Master.

Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time

Customer Review: love the game
If you like Mario and Luigi and funny games you should get this game. The beginning of the game can be a little bit frutrating. But, keep playing it and you will like it a lot. And there's also some short cuts in the game, but you have to complete the mission and figure it out.
Customer Review: Nintendo DS Game
This game is fun but sometimes tough getting used to. You play with the Baby Mario & Baby Luigi which get confusing sometimes. My 10 year old beat the game in a month and that was not everyday. My 35 year old sister liked it a lot also. Not a bad game for anyone.

In the '50s, when the first Computer games appeared, they used vector displays instead of video. However Video Game Consoles made their mark only during the mid seventies. Fierce competition between two main game consoles manufacturer of that time Magnavox and Atari, had resulted in many popular video games like PONG, Odyssey and Smash. These video games grew immensely popular among the masses and thus paved the way for the next generation of game consoles.

Though the journey from the first generation of game consoles to the current seventh generation has been plagued by video game crashes and market slowdown, the gaming industry have always come up with ground breaking games and technologies to overcome the gloom of the market. For example, during the video game crash of 1977, almost all game consoles developer and manufacturer withdrew from business when Atari came up with Space Invaders. The game was an instant hit. Space Invader became so popular that most of the people at that time bought Atari game consoles just for that one game. Similarly during the mid eighties slowdown in game consoles business, Nintendo's breakout hit game 'Super Mario Brothers' had not only revived the industry, but also had set the stage for better graphic and sound quality among the next generation of game consoles.

Among the current crop of seventh generation game consoles, three major player rules the total global market, namely Microsoft's Xbox 360, Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii. Among them, they share much of the total game consoles pie. Each of these game consoles offers not just a superior game play experience but also a whole new set of connectivity tools and large memory pool. So the present day video gaming is much more than pressing movement and action keys on your game consoles. One can download games to their consoles from online stores and WiFi hotspots as well as compete against other 'real' gamers in the virtual world.

Customer Review: was ok
This game was not what I thought it was gonna be. I thought i was gonna be playing a board game of a mario party map. not doing quest like an RPG! I played for a day and never played it again. :(
Customer Review: Not much of a party...
Don't get me wrong. This game is fairly easy to get into and goes quick. But calling it Mario Party is wrong. There's not much of a party as it's all single-player action. The "game board" isn't like a board game as it is in the console versions of Mario Party. It's more like the town or land in Super Mario Brothers 3 or Super Mario World. I really enjoyed going around the town and meeting the characters that live there and helping them with their errands. Although, some of the missions were kind of dumb (more thought could have been put into them). The gadgetts earned are just silly. They don't really do much and are a waste of time going through them all. The developers could have spent more time on the actual game play instead of creating these strange things. The game board is fairly easy to move around but running out of mushrooms is frustrating. It seemed that I would always run out of mushrooms right as I was about to finish a mission where I had to go all around the board and back. At least when the game restarts, all of the completed missions are still completed! Overall, this is a very fun game. The main portion of the game goes by really quickly and I wish there was a second "level" to it. I guess thats why you don't get all of the gadgetts in town. You have to buy the rest of the gadgetts from Challenge Land which can take a very long time.

Video games are now held to new standards as of lately due to the recent releases of the new consoles, which makes it even harder for sequels to crowned as a premium title. This would be the case for the newly released Ninja Gaiden 2 for the X-Box 360! As a fan of the 360 one would anticipate the arrival of this game seeing how it's predecessor is hailed to be one of the greatest actions games of it's time. Now Ninja Gaiden 2 does not break ground into some new way to design action games but it does do a great job at being a sequel, and by that last phrase it is meant that it meets all the requirements of the game before it and includes some new aspects to get old and new players into the title and series.

Let's start with the things that Ninja Gaiden 2 does correctly. With the return of popular weapons such as the Dragon Sword, Vigoorian Flails, Windmill Shuriken, and Lunar Staff the game rewards those how have played the first game by giving the a weapon that they are comfortable with and let's new player have a same glimpse into the previous title. The game does not stop there it has given players a handful of new weapons that offer some more than original and creative ways to fight against the hoards of enemies that you will encounter in this adventure. The battle system seemingly unflawed with minor problems in fighting sequences. For example the bases of your combos are a light, quick attack and a harder, slower. No matter which sequence of attacks that you throw at certain enemies they will be simply over thrown and disregarded by the bigger enemies. This not a major problem but can be quite aggregating at times after happening a couple of times in a row.

Another thing that this title does is that it rewards the player for learning combos and pulling off more difficult maneuvers like the izuna drop which will instantly kill an enemy. The button combinations are simple enough to remember but are complex enough so that a novice could not just pick the controller and master these techniques, give the gamer a great sense of accomplishment upon finishing one of these moves. Besides the action packed battle system the boss fights are fantastic. Team Ninja does a great job of making the boss fight monumental. Whether it is achieve by making the bosses enormously huge or by giving them lightning wielding hands they certainly establish that there is always a slim to zero chance that you will be walking out of these fights alive, which make player feel great after beating any boss. The best and newest edition to the game is the new obliteration system that has been added. This system enables the player finish off enemies after severing a limb from an enemy in a quite flavorful and theatrical sequence.

Let's Alright, now that we have pointed out what is good about the game, we must bring you the bad. Now this lovely hack and slash title does have a few speed bumps on it's highway to greatness. The first and probably most important is the story. While the story is not horrible it does hold this game back from being a triple "A" title not to be forgotten. Titles like these generally don't have nor need an immense story but the story in Ninja Gaiden 2 fails to attach the player to any of the characters in the game except Ryu. This plot makes sense but stretches from fighting human ninjas in present day Japan to fighting an ancient greater fiend on top of the Statue of Liberty and continues to drop our ninja friend in vast parts of the earth and some parts that may not be on earth, leaving the gamer to wonder how in the world did this ninja get to this destination.

In addition to the weird and uncompelling story the music is lack luster and faintly in the background of the vibrant action taking place on the screen and hardly makes the player feel enraged and ready to kick butt. The last thing about the game that is a bit frustrating is the fact that the game rarely rewards you outside of the X-Box live achievements (which pretty much don't do anything) the game doesn't offer any special weapons, items or combo for your extracurricular exploration except for the non profitable crystals skulls which do absolutely do nothing.

Overall

These few flaws are not enough to stop the addicting fun of hacking ninja limbs to pieces and obliterating beast and machines with the mere commands of your buttons. Any fan of game play should pick this title up. This title lives up to the expectations of it's predecessors but doesn't go above and beyond, an daunting task to ask of any game, with all facts considered this game Ninja Gaiden 2 an illustrious...

Nintendo DS Lite Value Pack - Super Mario Version

Set includes 1x Long Stylus Pen, 3x Different Character Stickers, 1x Stylus Holder, and 6x Mario Cartridge Cases
Customer Review: Security, The Mario Way
When it comes to video games, the Nintendo DS has really defined the new way we play games on the go. While there are so many games available for the system, it is very difficult to find a simple way to store them all. These Nintendo DS Mario Game Cases is a very sleek and simple way to store all your favorite Nintendo DS Game Cards. Each one fits like a single glove and comes in your favorite standard traditional Mario characters including mario, Peach and Luigi. The cases also come with a extra Nintendo DS stylus that is good for the original Nintendo DS and the DS Lite that works well, and is very reliable to play along with all your favorite games. While the stylus cases are individual and not a multi-pack like other ones, it is a affordable and convient way to store your games at a moderate price that is a real treat for all your DS needs. Price: B Storage: B- DS Stylus: A Overall: B
Customer Review: Good buy
Mostly, I bought this pack for the longer stylus and with the very low hopes that maybe there would be a way to attach the new stylus to the left side as I'm left-handed. As I figured, the holder still can only be attached on the right since unfortunately, it does connect by the current stylus slot. No matter though, the longer stylus in this pack is much easier to use if you have bigger hands, more like a pen or pencil with the exception of the circular picture of Mario on the end. The game cases are also very nice and fit DS games securely. The additional stickers you can put on the stylus instead of Mario, but even though I like Luigi better, I just don't have the heart to cover up Mario.

If you are like me, you are tired of paying out the butt for PSP games. I bought around 30 games before I realized that there had to be a better way. I am going to give you some tips on how you can get those free full PSP game downloads off of the internet.

Full PSP Game Downloads Tip 1

The first thing that you have to realize is that there are a lot of sites out there that only want to take your money. You need to be able to recognize what is crap and is real. So, the first thing that you need to ignore is pop-ups that come from other sites other than a download service site. For example, dont buy something that popped up on msn.com, because it probably is crap.

Full PSP Game Downloads Tip 2

You need to avoid any PSP download site that operates on a monthly fee, or does not offer a full payment at one time. Most of the time when you join these sites, you are actually paying for games with the monthly fee. They say it is for the membership, but you are actually paying for games, which is what we do not want to do.

Full PSP Game Downloads Tip 3

Realize that if you want to get a great service, you must pay something for it. Just like anything in life, you get what you pay for. Avoid sites that claim you can download full PSP games, and only charge you $5. This just isnt going to happen. You have to have a reliable service so that you can get what you want when you want it. Myself, I paid a one time payment of around $37. I know this sounds steep and hurts when I say it, but think of how fast you will get your money back. I downloaded one game and was even. Then an hour later I downloaded another game. Then I downloaded a movie, then another game, etc. The savings are unlimited.

Full PSP Game Downloads Tip 4

The last thing that I want you to do is to try to download games off of P2P programs. These programs are known to carry a lot of viruses that will kill your PC in no time. So, get a service that is both reliable and will do what is promised.

The best thing about downloading free PSP games is that it is totally legal if you have a legit service. Make sure that you dont break the law and get into serious trouble.

Nintendo DS Lite Game Traveler Mario Case - Gray

A new Villain in the Final Fantasy XI computer game is causing real players to pass out and get sick during a very, very long battle.

Well the saying goes if it is good enough for Cartman then it is good enough for Square-Enix.

Why am I saying this well the developers of the famous online role-playing computer game Final Fantasy XI seemed to have borrowed the idea from Emmy-winning South Park episode "Make Love, No Warcraft" by updating the game with one of the longest, most physically demanding video game fights ever. The latest downloadable update for the computer video game is a boss monster named "Pandemonium Warden" in which several high-level avatars wailed on the creature nonstop for 18 hours straight and no scratch on the beast.

This seemingly unbeatable boos will not prevent people from completing the computer game. Though persistent online game don't end the same way a normal single player game does. The has sparked debate as to what exactly the develops at square-Enix expect out of their devoted fan bass. As a result message board all over the place have lite up with players being less then satisfied with the new upgrade. They have called out the company on its in-game warning "no desire to see your real life suffer as a consequence [of playing]. Don't forget your friends, your family, your school or your work."

It was easy for Square-Enix to say. "While the beast continually healed, the gamers weren't so lucky."

"People were passing out and getting physically ill," leaders of the player guild said in a forum post. "We decided to end it before we risked turning into a horrible news story about how video games ruin people's lives."

According to this reader it is already too late.

Mario Kart 64 Game and Official Player's Guide Bundle

Product DescriptionMario Kart 64, one of the first games released for the Nintendo 64 platform, is an updated translation of the very popular Super Mario Kart for the Super NES (SNES).Mario Kart 64 offers enough challenges to keep players (especially casual gamers) entertained. * Well-designed tracks * Simple controls * Strong multiplayer appealBook DescriptionGet on the fast track with Mario Kart 64. With twenty courses, four modes of play, and eight drivers, Mario Kart 64 packs in the challenge. It's not enough just to stay on the road and put your foot to the floor. If you want to take the checkered flag, you need an edge. Winning racers turn to the only source that has all the strategies, all the shortcuts, and all the course maps showing every detail. Includes: complete 3D maps of every race track; top secret driving techniques; turbo-charged, classified charts; best shortcuts for the fastest times; pro strategies for mario gp, vs. and battle modes.

If you are planning a party or other type of get-together, you might be wondering what you are going to do to make sure that all of your guests are entertained. One of the things that you can do is play the bean bag game. Not everyone knows about this game, and some people who do know about it feel that it was only a game that they played in grade school. They think that it was just for their school gym class, and why would they want to play it as an adult? That is easy to answer: because the bean bag game is fun! People forget how much they enjoyed playing games like that, and they forget that they can enjoy childhood pursuits when they are older. There is no shame in it. These kinds of games can bring people together and help to ensure that they have a good time with their family and their friends.

It does not matter if it is a birthday party, an anniversary party, or some other kind of get-together. Almost any time is a good time for the bean bag game. It can be played at tailgating parties and family reunions, too. No matter where you are in the country or what age group is coming to the party, the bean bag game can still be played. This is one of the reasons that the game is so popular, because people of all age groups can play it. It does not matter if a person is five or ninety-five, because the game is fun and easy and the instructions are not hard to understand. By making a game that everyone can play available at your next party you will give everyone a chance to have fun and interact with each other. Some people are quite nervous when they come to a party, especially if they do not know anyone that well. The bean bag game can be a great ice-breaker for these people. It gives them something to do and an excuse to talk to other people. This can provide them with the boost that they need to come out of their shell a little bit and make some more friends.

If the party you are planning is a family get-together there might even be some family members who enjoy the game and can bring their own bean bag game set. This will help you, since you will have more than one set for people to use. It will help keep the party from stagnating and help stop people from getting bored while waiting their turn. Just make sure to have some indoor games planned as well, so that there is something to do if bad weather strikes. If you have a large enough home, or if you have a screened-in or glassed-in back porch, you can also play the bean bag game inside. Just be sure there is nothing breakable or easily knocked over around, especially if there are children or rowdy teenagers playing the game. By offering things like the bean bag game at your next party, you can provide a fun and wholesome atmosphere for everyone who attends.

Dave Roth owns a site that sells bean bag game products. In addition to complete sets, the site also features rules and building instructions.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3

Super Mario Bros 3: Super Mario Advance 4 is a direct port of the tremendous hit Nintendo game to your GBA!
Customer Review: Awsome!!!!!
I played this game when i was a child with my cousins, and when i got the games i had so much fun playing them and remembering how much fun me and my cousins would have fun playing these games
Customer Review: Super Mario 3
Loved this game on the old Nintendo system 15 years ago, and it is exactly the same. Brings back old memories!

Mario is portrayed in games and entertainment as a kind-hearted, brave hero with with a love of pasta and pizza. Mario games, on the whole, have sold more than 290 million units on the last count, making the series the best-selling of all time. But just who is this chap and where did he come from?

Mario has appeared in over two hundred video games since he was created way back in 1981 and has since, taken on the role of Nintendo's mascot and has been a huge selling point together with lots of top selling merchandise. He is of course part of the hugely successful Nintendo wii currently taking the world by storm.

The little chap is depicted as a short, pudgy happy-go-lucky Italian plumber who lives in the Mushroom Kingdom, where he is very much seen and treated as a hero best known for constantly thwarting the plans of the evil King Bowser to kidnap Princess Peach and take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario's cheerful personality is reflected in his high pitched voice and of course we only hear short phrases like, "Okey dokey" but we all know his voice.

Although his outfit usually changes to suit whichever game he is in, Mario's basic appearance has changed little over the years since he first appeared in the arcade game Donkey Kong where I believe he was a character named Jumpman. He was later used in other genres such as the educational game Mario Paint, appearing in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), and Mario Pinball Land for the Game Boy Advance.

Mario's creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, apparently once said that Mario wears a cap simply because he finds it difficult to draw hair! I don't know how true that is but it is a nice, little interesting point regarding a hugely successful character who is still selling extremely well worldwide.

John Milligan.

Exclusive Black GBA w/ Free Super Mario World

This exclusive bundle is no longer available. See all Game Boy Advance hardware
This exclusive black Game Boy Advance console comes with a free copy of Super Mario World.

The Game Boy platform (which includes the original unit, the Game Boy Pocket, and the Game Boy Color) came to market when most video game consoles had a life expectancy of just a few years. More than a decade later, the system is still going strong. How did the Game Boy successfully compete--and in some cases bury--an onslaught of faster, more powerful handheld and home console systems? Let us count the ways: affordability, a huge library of games that consistently made the most of the hardware's limitations, smart power management that extended battery life, and uncluttered controls. But perhaps it was the system's ultraportable design, which allowed devotees to play video games around their schedules, making it the must-have system for kids and adults alike.

Now the Game Boy Advance (or GBA as its already being called) comes to us with power that would have been unthinkable back in the day. The portable's 32-bit RISC CPU runs circles around the former's 8-bit workhorse, allowing it to process program instructions much faster. What that means to everyday gamers is more intricate visuals, more simultaneous movement on the screen, and better sound. In fact, the often-annoying beeps and boops of old-school Game Boy titles are being replaced with digitized stereo sound. The extra processing muscle also means you can network up to four Game Boy Advance units together, via the communication cable, for multiplayer fun on one shared cartridge. Only two Game Boy Color units could link together, and each unit had to have a copy of the game.

What's not being replaced, however, is the wide selection of Game Boy games. Since the Game Boy Advance system is backward compatible, it will play its own line of colorful games--like such launch titles as Super Mario Advance, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Army Men Advance, High Heat Major League Baseball 2002, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2--as well as all the monochrome and color games that have already been released for the previous Game Boy systems (nearly 500 of them in total). Players can view the older games in their smaller, originally square dimensions or, with the touch of the shoulder button, expand the game to fit the GBA's larger screen. We tried enlarging the screen on a Game Boy Color edition of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and found that Mr. Hawk was much easier to see.

When you first pick up the system, you'll wonder how they got it to be so incredibly lightweight. At a little less than 5 ounces and a little larger than a deck of playing cards, the system easily fits into a shirt pocket without any sag. The GBA's wider shape fits better into a wider range of hands. The former design too often pushed the left and right thumb knuckles together during game play. The new layout should be comfortable for all ages, and the center screen orientation makes it easy to see.

Game Boy Color owners will find the GBA's larger screen somewhat darker than they're used to, but that's because the screen is outfitted with antiglare technology. Like the old Game Boy Color, the color LCD is not backlit, so you need pretty good light to play by. Unlike that system, though, you won't be craning your neck and tilting the unit to see around the hot-spot reflection of the light bulb in your screen.

But you'll also notice the graphics. Sporting what's basically a redesigned SNES technology, you'll see things on the GBA that the big consoles do, such as scaling (making objects larger or smaller) and rotation effects--technological advances that will affect the look of everything from crossing a finish line to throwing a touchdown pass to crawling through a dungeon.

Some might argue that Nintendo could have tried to put even more power into this Game Boy Advance. After all, the 32-bit video game had its heyday more than five years ago. Perhaps, but after handling this new handheld, we're inclined to think that Nintendo wisely struck a balance between size, price, and power consumption. And considering how well the old 8-bit system weathered the decade's technological storms, we think the Game Boy Advance is here to stay, and we're glad. --Porter B. Hall

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past five years, you know all about the Halo franchise of games. Halo 1 propelled the original Xbox onto the scene as a major competitor to PlayStation 2 and put a whole new spin on first person shooters. Halo 2 builds upon the foundation of Halo 1, expanding gameplay, improving graphics, and continuing the story of Master Chief and the battle for civilization. Halo 3 was the flagship game for Xbox 360, grossing nearly $200 million in sales on the first day it was released and has now sold over 8 million copies.

And now comes Halo wars. The latest game from Bungee and Ensemble Studios is expected to hit the shelves in late 2008 or early 2009 with much anticipation.

Why Halo Wars, and not Halo 4? Well Halo Wars is a patently different game than its predecessors. While the first three Halo games were first-person shooters, having you take on the role of Master chief, Halo Wars is a game of real-time strategy. Think traditional first-person shooter meets World of Warcraft. Needless to say, the overall gaming experience is going to be a lot different with Halo Wars. You'll be able to control and command armies, send them to do battle, or protect your bases.

Will all the die hard Halo fans be receptive to this new type of game? I think it is safe to say most of them will at least give it a shot, as all the familiar characters and vehicles will be featured in Halo Wars, such as scorpion tanks, UNSC Marines, and the Warthog. Expect some new, unfamiliar character as well.

The developers of Halo wars are trying to garner a new set of gaming fans, those who may be hardcore into real-time strategy games like Starcraft or World of Warcraft. It may be difficult to win over these fans, as there are already a couple of well established real-time strategy franchises that have a very devoted fan base. Nonetheless, with the popularity of previous Halo games, many of these fans are likely to be intrigued by halo wars. The designers know this and are going out of their way to make a Halo Wars the most talked about strategy game of the year.

While we all wait in anticipation of the game's release, there is not much we can do other than speculate about the ins-and-outs of Halo Wars. The good news is, Ensemble Studios has released a Halo Wars gameplay video to give you an idea of the games action. It's not much, but it will holdover the hard-core fans until we can play the game ourselves.

Do you want a new playstation 2 game? Buying Games from your local shop can be expensive and a lot of the time new games can be sold out. Is there a way to download a brand new playstation 2 game off the net? And is it legal? You can of course download torrents but this is illegal and can result in you getting caught. So whats the alternative?

There are sites where you pay a monthly fee and join a P2P (person to person) network. You can then download new playstation 2 games from other people on the network. But when that person signs out your game stops downloading. Not Good! But there are sites where you pay a small one time fee and get access to there database of games forever.

Is it ethical? Most of the time the sites will pay royalties for the games your downloading and still have cheap downloads because you are the burning them onto CD or DVD yourself. PS2 (playstation 2) games are the easiest to get hold of and download as the games are a lot easier to download and burn.

So which is the best to use? Some sites are better than others and keep there database of games up to date whenever new games come out. Where as some sites will take your fee off you only for you to find that the games on the site are years old. Have a good look at the site before parting with your money. You'll see which ones are legit.

There are sites that also have games on other platforms (Xbox, Nintendo) along with movie and song downloads available as well as brand new playstation 2 games.

Customer Review: Memories!
I am so excited that I ordered this game...it brought back so many childhood memories!
Customer Review: enjoy the best game ever
This is where it all began, folks. Many of us who grew up in the 80's remember this game fondly, because back then, we didn't have as big of a gaming selection as we do today. We only had a few games, and Super Mario Bros. was one of them. You know what though? People seem to think we must have had it rough back then, only having a few games available for the NES in the mid 80's. Not much in the way of variety. But the truth (the HONEST truth) is this- the smaller choices we had, the more we appreciated the few games we had, unlike today where games seem to be designed with the intention of sucking out as much storyline elements as possible and quickly moving on to the next game. Back in the day we didn't play games like that. We waited patiently for a new groundbreaking gaming experience to take us by surprise, and it seemed like a few new amazing things happened every year. Really, do people even care as much about video games today? It's not like new, groundbreaking features are coming along (except for the Wii and that amazing Nintendo controller, but nothing revolutionary concerning the GAMES themselves are being made anymore). No, back in the mid 80's, small platform games laid the foundation for what soon was to come. Every single year sparked a new innovation. The first Super Mario Bros. was popular, fun, and playable for just about anyone, and THAT is what matters most of all. It mattered back then, and it matters now. The object is to just blow through the short levels collecting mushrooms, coins, and finding the best way to deal with the amazing enemies throughout the levels. The fact that the game features water and castle levels shows that Nintendo was really on to something huge back then, and they would continue to make one quality game after another. Sometimes the first is extremely important, and this game is a perfect example of that. Experience brilliance.

While playing game everyone tries to find cheats to make their gaming easy. Cheat codes for the PSP are also available all over the internet and most of them do work. But many a times the cheats you find don't work properly. I can tell you about a few service providers who offer cheat codes for the PSP for absolutely no cost at all, you are never charged for any of the cheat codes you download. This write up will actually help you find game cheats that work for sure.

PSP cheat codes are a bit uncommon, but if you just know where to look you are sure to find a hell lot of game cheats for the PSP. Now it has been a couple of years since I have been downloading games for my PSP. And I am really amazed at the kind of game cheats that people and sites come up with. I usually don't like suing cheat codes unless it is absolutely necessary. But if you want them they are always ready on the internet for you to use.

End of levels or places where I don't know what to do next in the game, is where I usually use the game cheats. I can use almost every cheat known on earth and all these cheats found in one location. I will provide you with the link of this location at the end of this write up.

Now before I get into detail about cheats, I would like to tell you that you never need to pay for any of your PSP games. Just sign in to one of the unlimited download services with a one time minimal payment for a life time of membership. And then just keep downloading as much as you want and that is not only with game but also other files. I am not trying to market any particular service provider but I am just trying to tell you what the internet has to offer.

Many of the sites use a lot of tricks just to cheat you and thus make a lot of money. And so you need to be specifically looking for a good PSP download service provider. You also need to confirm that the site has a good customer support in case you have a problem. The provider also needs to offer softwares that help you demote your PSP firmware so that you can play all the downloaded games and also use the cheats on the PSP. Another important thing is the collection in their database; it needs to have a large amount of downloadable file, it should not be only that of games but also movies, videos, music, softwares, etc. so always make sure the provider offers all this.

One thing you need to be highly careful of is persistent monthly payments. These services are not here to help you but are simply here to cheat you and rob you of your money. There are also sites which offer multi-level membership, don't sign in for them, they also rob you of your money. Always sign in for one payment unlimited download service sites, they are the most reliable and provide you with unlimited downloads for a lifetime and all that just for a minimal payment.

Jeremy Liner has reviewed over 42 PSP Game Downloads sites and finally decided that the absolute best service with the largest database and lowest entry cost is:
